Who is Kurt Hill?

I am a racing driver from Sydney, Australia and through my successes so far I have had the opportunity to travel around the world and experience the fun it has to offer. I have built my career in racing with a smart mind and a precise touch, and am most recognised for my determination, integrity and finesse.

Now I am bringing this to my blogging platform along with my honed writing skills that I have already put into practice on top publications such as Apple News, DriveTribe, and RACER.

The Kurt Hill story.

Australian Motorsports Driver, Media Content Creator & Entrepreneur.

The path I took into motorsports is an unusual one and actually begins at the ice rink. Before racing cars I raced around the ice as a speed skater that was training for the Winter Olympics of 2014 and beyond. A broken leg meant that those plans would come to a grinding halt and put an end to my active lifestyle for the time being. The downtime resulting from this allowed me to pursue my other interests, including my growing interest in Formula 1 and motorsports.

Recovery was coming along a little slower than I expected, and with my passion for speed skating fading I realised that motorsports presented an opportunity for me to be active while still recovering. After looking up how to get started in motorsports with my Dad we found out many drivers have roots in Go-Karting, a sport we barely knew existed.

My entrance into the sport is even more unconventional as my family had no prior connection or background in cars or motorsport. We never let this stop us as we just kept learning and connecting with the very best motorsport professionals ensuring I evolved into a top-tier driver.

What is coming in the future.

IndyCar and the Indianapolis 500.

In the next few years you can expect to see a new face taking the IndyCar series by storm. I will be making a permanent move to the United States to take on the country’s premier motorsport series. The aim here is not just to merely compete, but to be amongst the fight for Indy 500 glory and IndyCar series championships for many years to come.

Motorsports have always been, and is continuing to be at the cutting edge of technological developments, with innovations that can be seen today from things like your cars rear view mirror, to supermarket refrigerators. Motorsports and in particular IndyCar and F1 also display cutting edge developments in human physiology, through the sports unique physical demands.

Now it’s time for the fan experience to be upgraded to truly represent and reflect motorsports place as a breeding ground for innovation. Outside my focus of delivering on track I plan to revolutionise both the access fans receive and the way that they interact with drivers. All professional sports rely on fan involvement and engagement so it only makes sense that they have a platform and driver that delivers them a solid platform for the future.

Not to brag but…

These are just some of the places I have featured.
